Run With the Dogs 5K needs your help. This is the largest annual fundraiser of the Decatur Bulldogs Boosters, which supports the athletic programs at Decatur High School and Beacon Hill Middle School. The Boosters raise money annually to meet the needs of student athletes, including uniforms and equipment. These funds are used to support 1,100 student athletes on all 57 teams representing 19 sports at Decatur High and Beacon Hill.
In 2023 we had more than 600 registered participants in the Run With the Dogs 5K. We are hoping for many more this year as this race continues to grow in popularity. This event is unique in many ways and has a very loyal following in the local community and beyond. People love the one-of-a-kind T-shirt, they love supporting student athletes, they love running with their best four-legged pals, and this is one of very few chip timed 5Ks that take place in January. This race offers a great way to honor New Year fitness goals and is an official qualifying event for the annual Peachtree Road Race.
