Who will be the “Face of the Race” for 2019?

SATURDAY, JANUARY 12, 2019 The 5K run/walk begins at 9:00 am, rain or shine at Decatur High School in Decatur, GA.  The one mile Pup Trot begins at 8:30 am. One registration fee allows you to do the 5k and the 1 mile puppy run.  Do one or do both!  Runners and walkers of all levels are invited to participate with their furry canine companions!  You don’t have to have a dog though :).  All proceeds will be used by the Decatur Bulldog Boosters to help fund the sports programs at Decatur High School and Renfroe Middle School.

AGE GROUPS: 11 & under, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 & over.

AWARDS: To overall 1st place male and female runners, Masters 1st place male and female runners and top male and female finishers in each category.  Long sleeve t-shirts designed by local artist, Adam Pinsley, will only be guaranteed to participants registered by January 1st. After that t-shirts will be given as available at Thursday and Friday's early pickup and the day of the event.


Thursday Jan 10th - 11am to 2pm (Hound Playground)

Friday Jan 11th - 4pm to 7pm (Fleet Feet Decatur)

Saturday Jan 12th starting at 8am at Decatur High School (Commerce Drive - bus loop area)

COURSE: The run/walk will begin on Commerce Street behind the Decatur High School stadium and will run through City of Decatur residential areas. The course will be well marked and supervised by volunteers and the City of Decatur Police Department. Water stations will be positioned along the course. Refreshments will be available at the finish.


Individuals:     $30 until Jan. 7, 2019

                         $35 after Jan. 7, 2019

 City of Decatur Students, Teachers & Employees:

                        $25 until Jan. 7, 2019

                        $30 after Jan 7, 2019

Race day registration: $40

All entry fees are non-refundable.
